NETGEAR ReadyNAS Default Admin Password<\/h1>\n

Both surprisingly and annoyingly Netgear do not put the default Admin login username and password in the standard documentation and as security is turned on by default, so you won’t be able to access the control panel without it.<\/p>\n

If you have lost or forgotten your password then you can recover it by answering your secret question you entered when initially setting up the NAS. Type in http:\/\/the_ip_of_your_nas\/password_recovery to go to the recovery page.<\/p>\n

If you have forgotten your secret question answer then you will need to perform a firmware re installation this can be accessed from the boot menu.<\/p>\n
