Google has announced it is rolling out changes to it blogging service Blogger to allow it to take down \/ remove access to s blog on a country by country basis.<\/p>\n
At the moment when Google receives a court order it has to apply it globally, but now it will be able just to apply to the country or territory on question.<\/p>\n
Initially the changes will apply in Australia, New Zealand and India, but eventually it will apply to every country<\/p>\n
This comes on the back of a similar division twitter last week.<\/p>\n
Is this a worrying trend of things to come, where companies are bowing to the pressure from governments around the world, in the wake of the Arab spring and the London Riots?<\/p>\n
