How Can I Test The Surround Sound On Netflix?
Are you trying to work out if your system is outputting stereo, 5.1 or 5.1? It used to a case of trying to find a film with a good film sound track like U-571 or the Matrix. But now Netflix has very kindly provided a series of test films to test both your audio and visual settings.
Unfortunately it is not as obvious to find as you might hope;
- Go to search, enter TEST.
- Amongst the results you will see a tile marked NETFLIX, Click on it.
- It will bring up a selection of different programs to test both your audio and display systems.
If you choose the first “Episode” then it will roll around your speakers sending test tone for you to hear from each one.
The other Episodes allow you to run various other tests including a 4K screen test.
