1) Open your web browser of choice and type mail.aol.com into your address bar and press enter.
2) On the right hand side under the Blue “Sign In” button is a link called “Sign up for a free account” click this.
3) AOL will now offer you a screen to allow you to setup your email account. Enter the requested information.
Your First Name.
Middle Initial (optional).
Your Last Name.
Pick a User Name – this will be your actual email account e.g. yourname@aol.com. If your chosen username is not available AOL will offer you some similar alternatives, you are not obligated to choose one of these, you can start again if you wish.
Select a security Question. – This is used to help prove your identity in the future or if you forget your password.
Enter a answer to the above question.
Mobile Phone Number (optional). – This is used to help prove your identity in the future or if you forget your password.
Alternate Email (optional). – This is used to help prove your identity in the future or if you forget your password.
6) Click Next.
7) AOL will now ask you to prove you are not an automated robot by entering the characters you can see in the box provided.
8) When you are happy click “Sign Up” – by clicking this button you are agreeing to their terms and conditions.
9) AOL will now display a Congratulations screen showing you your username and also your security question and its answer. AOL will also offer you the chance to download its browser tool bar. This is optional, to turn it down unselect the tick box.
10) That’s it AOL will now take you to its main webmail interface.
To send your first email click on the email icon at the top left hand side under the AOL Logo.
Type the recipients email in the To: box
Type your messages subject in the Subject: box
Type the main body of email in the large box underneath
When you are happy click the send envelope icon located just above the To: box.
That’s it you have successfully created a AOL free Email account and sent your first email.

How to Restore an Asus Aspire 5635 to Factory Default Settings
Before going any further you should make sure you have backed up all your important data as restoring your Asus apsire to factory Default will wipe out the C drive.
If you not not already have a backup and you can’t boot up your machine then you should ideally drop it in to us or your local computer shop to take a backup of your data first.
Enter Bios Setup by pressing the F2 key when the post screen is displayed ( this is when the asus logo is displayed when you first start the laptop).
Make sure “Disk to Disk Recovery” is enabled then choose save and exit.
Reboot the Laptop.
When the Post Screen is displayed press the “alt” + “F10” buttons at the same time – this will take you in to the recovery process.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
That should be it, if that does not work you recovery partition might have been corrupted. So you will need to try the recovery backup you took when you purchased the Laptop or order some replacement discs from asus.

How to Create a New Microsoft Outlook Email Account
Setting up a New Outlook Email account is very easy and is similar to creating a hotmail or Gmail account.
Even if currently have an email account it is worth setting up a secondary account. I.e. To keep your personal emails separate from your work or for signing up for websites so your main email account does not get spammed.
Open up your browser of choice and then follow the instructions below.

3. Fill in the Form that is now displayed with your details.
First Name.
Last Name.
Birthday (Month, Day, Year).
Gender (Male, Female, Not Specified).
Your Email Name @outlook.com (this will be your actual email address so try to make it memorable, If you chosen name has been taken try adding your middle name or some numbers to the end)
Renter your password (this is to make sure you have not mistyped)
Backup Options ( You must select at least 2)
Phone Number(Optional).
Alternate Email Account (Optional).
Security Question (Optional). E.g. Your mother’s maiden name.
Your Country (You can make this up if you want).
Zip Code / Post Code (if applicable to country selected).
Security Text to prove you are not an automated signup robot.
Choose whether you would like to receive email with promotional offers from Microsoft. (You can unsubscribe at any time) (Optional).
Agree to Microsoft’s terms and conditions. (Not Optional).
4. If your browser is old, Microsoft will ask you if you would like to upgrade your browser to the latest version. This is not necessary but recommended to get the most from the outlook interface. (Microsoft will check no matter what browser you are using e.g. explorer, firefox, crome, safari etc.)
5. If you want to upgrade click on the link indicated on the screen and follow the instructions otherwise click on “continue to Outlook”.
6. You will now be taken to the new outlook interface.
To send your first email via outlook click the “New” button located in the top banner.
