    1. Plug in your device and charge it to at least 50%.
    2. Remove all leads from your Iphone or Ipad.
    3. Plug your Apple lead into your computer/laptop and start up iTunes.
    4. Turn off your device by holding down the Sleep/Wake button until the red turn off slider appears, slide the slider and wait for the screen to go black. Your Iphone or Ipad should now be off.

    6. Press and hold down the Home button then reconnect your usb cable. The phone or tablet should turn on by its-self.
    7. Keep holding the Home button until the “connect to iTunes” screen appears. You can now release the Home button.
    8. Inside iTunes you should get a “recovery mode active” screen.
    9. You can now use iTunes to restore your device.

Apples New OS Lion Missing Rosetta!

The new operating system from apple named Lion is great, it has over 200 new features including multi touch, wireless file sharing and an Iphone/Ipad style app interface and it only costs £21!

But apple have not mentioned that the new OS Lion does not include Rosetta.

Rosetta was a translation engine included in previous operating systems that enabled the new Intel Mac computers to run older applications that were written to run on Motorola & IBM PowerPC powered Macs.

The result is, if you have any old applications like office for mac or Adobe PhotoShop Elements that were not written to work on intel processors, then they won’t work on Lion.

If you have lots of old software then this could be a very expensive upgrade!
